Welcome Back
Dear EA Parents,
I hope you are looking forward to the coming school year with excitement! The summer has been a mix of cool and hot days, and we hope you’ve had time to rejuvenate and connect as families. As the new school year approaches, we wanted to share some general updates with you.
Teachers and level leads have been on campus throughout the summer preparing for the new year. We also just completed our second week of staff training. During this time, we reviewed literature for the upcoming year, and teams worked both vertically and horizontally to ensure alignment and a seamless transition for all of our students and families.
This past year was a wonderful experience for Jessica and me as we got to know the staff and families at Primary. It’s been fantastic to spend time this summer reflecting on the year and planning for the future. Our resounding takeaway is that we have joined a truly phenomenal community.
We are committed to strengthening connections across our community—from students and parents to teachers, therapists, administration, and the board. We are grateful for everyone’s willingness to come to the table, and we are excited to continue moving forward together.

Mark your calendars, Parent Orientation will be Monday, August 18th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. This is a time for parents to get an overview of school wide information and expectations, meet the staff, and engage with your child’s teachers within their learning spaces. At this time, you may also bring any school supplies if you choose. This evening is geared for adult engagement and questions. Please leave the kids at home. Our first day of school will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025. We’re looking forward to an amazing year!

Parents & the EA Board
This year, families will have opportunities to connect with the board. In November 2025, parents will be able to sign up to present a topic during a scheduled board meeting. More information will be shared when sign-ups become available.
Then, in February 2026, families are invited to join the board for a casual lunch and conversation.

EAPO
Get Involved with the EAPO!
The Elizabeth Academy Parent Organization (EAPO) will be at Parent Orientation Night to help you find ways to get involved. Since all families are asked to complete volunteer hours, the EAPO can guide you in choosing how you’d like to contribute.
