Early Intervention & Integrated Services
EARLY INTERVENTION (Infant,Toddler, and Early Childhood Intervention Services) and INTEGRATED SERVICES (Elementary and Middle School Integrated Services) are extra support services required for children who would benefit from additional support in our classrooms at the primary campus. The student’s educational team, made up of the student’s parents, teachers, therapists, and administrators, collaborate to create a Student Success Plan (SSP). The SSP outlines specific goals and service areas that help students find social and academic success in their classroom communities. An additional fee is required to secure these special services.
To support consistency in the classrooms and predictability for students, therapists strive to provide their respective therapy services at the same time each week. Parents/ guardians are billed in a lump sum amount (which can typically be spread out via monthly FACTS payments) for the academic year and are not reimbursed for early intervention or inclusion service sessions missed due to student absences, school field trips, or tardiness. Therapists will do their best to make up the sessions whenever possible with 48-hour advance notice of the absence; however, make-up sessions for arriving late, illness, or field trips are not guaranteed to be made up.
Early Intervention services include comprehensive classroom-based Speech and Language Therapy (SLP), Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational therapy (OT), and Music Therapy. Student goals are targeted in the classroom as much as possible in a naturalistic way that promotes growth and a sense of community. Goals are targeted to build skills throughout the school day within the classroom to the greatest extent possible. $8,000 yearly additional fee.
Integrated Services include classroom-based comprehensive and integrated therapy support, academic support, and social/emotional support with consultation services as needed. Speech and language therapy supports are combined with reading therapy and evidence-based academic interventions. The student’s educational team utilizes occupational, physical, and music therapists as needed. Social, emotional, and behavioral supports are provided weekly to support emotional regulation and set students up for success in their learning environment. $6,000 yearly additional fee.

Tuition Assistance & Scholarships
Elizabeth Academy is one of the most affordable private schools in Salt Lake City, and at the same time, we understand that tuition may be cost-prohibitive for some families. We provide merit scholarships and tuition assistance to offset tuition costs.
Common Questions
The Primary School (located in Millcreek) begins with students as young as 12 weeks old to 8th graders. Our Postseondary (LEAP program) serves adults with intellectual disabilities in a continuing education setting.
We do not offer these extended care programs at Elizabeth Academy. Our priority is giving the best experience we can to each child who enters our school. We strongly believe that our staff’s efforts should be focused on their Montessori classroom and students during the school day.
There are some after school clubs offered to students such as Montessori Model UN, Art, Dance, Theater, Math Club, Ski Club. We also offer 5 weeks of summer camp to our currently enrolled families.
Since our Montessori classrooms are multi-age/grade classrooms as well as being inclusive we have to look very closely at the age of each applicant as well as what supports they may need in the classroom. As well as the spaces that we have in each classroom.
In regard to our population of students who have disabilities, it is helpful to know that we strive to enroll children who we feel will benefit and thrive in our inclusive Montessori program. Those with milder Learning Disabilities (such as ADHD and Dyslexia) and even more moderate to severe Intellectual Disabilities (such as Down syndrome or other diagnoses which include ID), or students with high functioning Autism usually make gainful strides in our program. Our program is not recommended for students who have moderate to severe Autism and we cannot serve children with severe mental health, behavioral issues, or medical needs.
We do accept the Carson Smith scholarship and Children’s First scholarship for those that are eligible. Financial aid is available for new and returning students. Merit based scholarships are also available to upper elementary and secondary students.
Elizabeth Academy has families apply each year to maintain up to date information on the child. Children change so much in a year and we like to look at the most up to date information during the enrollment season. If you have applied in a previous year and been in our wait pool we do make those applications priority.
Infants/ Toddlers/ Early Childhood (3-4 year olds) there are four day and five day options. Four days are Monday – Thursday with half or full day options. Five days are Monday – Friday with half and full day options as well.
Half days are 8:30-12:15pm.
Full days are 8:30 – 3:30 pm – Monday – Thursday/ Friday 12:45 pm
**Kindergarten – 8th grade are 5 full day only**
Yes! Elizabeth Academy is accredited through Cognia.
